EU legalize the use of natural cannabinoids in cosmetics

We have been working against what we and many other hemp producers in Switzerland believe to be wrong classifications of hemp products inside the European Union.

Cannabis sativa leaf extract added to CosIng database making it compliant

Today, a new entry in the CosIng database was implemented, when Cannabis Sativa Leaf Extract was added to CosIng under a separate INCI title "Cannabis Sativa Leaf Extract" (CAS# in process). The new entry in the CosIng database can be found here.

The change means that using leaves from Cannabis Sativa plants in cosmetics is no longer restricted inside the EU with immediate effect.

All our CBD products are compliant on EU-level

After the changes in the Novel Food catalogue we decided to register our CBD products as cosmetics in the EU and take away any information referencing to oral use or dosage recommendations in all our communications.
