Best international placement is 23 at the World Championships, and winning his first Europa Cup last winter.
He has participated in seven skiing films, and in 2015 was the co-host in a show on Danish tv show called "To på Ski" ("Two people skiing") on TV2.
He has always skied a little, but had his first big breakthrough at his very first competition, getting a podium finish 15 years old at the Danish Freestyle Championships. This allowed him to attend school on half time and go on his first skiing season at age 16.
Get up early, have good breakfast, prepare his equipment. He hits the mountain, warms up and assesses the skii park the jumps. He is eating throughout the day and is careful to get his restitution meal after skiing and physical workout. Rasmus DJ (28) lives and breathes for skiing. Since 2004 he has been an innovator and pioneer in sport, raced the limits of both competitions, tricks and parties in the Danish film.
His professional career began in 2009 while his video blog came out, a blog that annually had more than 100,000 views and had about 80 episodes in the 7 seasons it has run.
Now he is doing skiedits, coursepreviews from competitions and shorter video clips from his training, which is shared online on social media, fb, instagram and Danish ski sites, etc. Some get the hashtagget # doublestiljørør and his sponsors hashtag. With 7-8 months of skiing a year he is always on the go, seeking the adventure and the good story.
Last winter, in co-operation with Cola Zero and Nortlander skitours, he was exposed in a big campaign where you could win a trip to a ski school in Val d'Isere. Here, over 70 full-size pedigree characters were made in Rasmus, which featured in all Fona stores and many ship shops across the country, online videos and TV commercials on TV3 +, as well as massaging online content from the week when Rasmus was skiing with the winners of the competition.
This winter Rasmus performed for the first time as a member of a new series of ski programs with Thomas Uhrskov. The programs are called "Two On Ski" and have 6 episodes a 30 minutes, which appeared on Tv2, Tv2 Free and Tv2 Play.
In competitions he has won gold for both freestyle and freeeride DM and at the last World Cup in Slopestyle he reached a 23th place out of 47 participants - the best Danish ranking in a freestyle ski discipline.
In the coming winter Rasmus will compete in the World Cup and collect points to qualify for the Winter Olympics 2018 in Peyongchang, Korea.
